FANFLIPPINGTASTIC!

The last book left us with a huge cliffhanger. Who would Anna pick? Chase? Jeff? And once again, the book picked up right where the last one left off. I love when an author does that because I really hate when we are left with a huge cliffhanger and when the next book picks up and there has been time spent that we only get a preview of or an insight too. I'm much too curious a person to be satisfied with that, so I love that Jasinda never leaves us hanging or missing a thing.
This latest installment seems to be the end of Anna's story as she finds her happily ever after, but it is the first in the series that is featured as a full length novel. I loved that we finally got to see who Anna chooses and who she finds is right and perfect for her. I've read several series where you just never know who the main character is going to choose and in many instances you can kind of figure it out to some degree before you find out for certain. Jasinda displayed raw talent in really making me wonder which way Anna would go, and I was literally kept guessing up until the absolute final moment when she walked down the aisle. I loved that this story did that for me so that I could be truly surprised.
Each part of Anna's story was written better than the last, and Jasinda Wilder has showed a true talent for the art of writing. She is able to recap a story from one book to the next without making it boring and excessive. She keeps the plot moving steadily throughout the book without any drags or lulls so that not matter whether you are on page one or the second to last page, you can't put the book down and stop reading.
The preview for the next part of this series, told in Anna's "world" but from a different character looks to be exciting and another must read. Can't wait to see where she goes with this part of the storyline!
I highly recommend this series. Anna is likeable, loveable, strong and fun. You can't not find yourself rooting for her and wanting her to find her happily ever after! She's come a long way since book one, and you will find yourself cheering her on every step of the way!

Repetitive

I've read all "Big Girls Do It ..." books.
The story is very repetitive & filled with mediocre LOVE scenes. These books are written in too much detail. (I never thought I would say such a thing)
Also, for me, I was hoping Anne would end up with Chase!

Big Girls Do It... Mediocre

I really enjoyed the other books in this series but this one, not so much. I know it was due to the glaring discrepancies throughout the book. I found myself constantly flipping back pages to double-check what had been written earlier.
For instance, when Chase shows up at Anna and Jamie's apartment unexpectedly and Anna slid down the wall after he left. Jeff covered her with her towel but when they were in her room she's covered with a sheet and then suddenly it's a towel again when Jeff has his arms around her.
In that same scene Jeff carries Anna into her room, closes the door with his foot and sets her on the bed. Then after the towel changes to a sheet and back to a towel again Jeff is pushing her to her room and closing the door behind them.
When Anna is telling Jeff about her family she says that she has an older brother who is in the Marines but then when she's talking about when her mom finally left her dad Jared is twelve to her fourteen. I don't know what kind of math that is but I learned that twelve is less than fourteen.
When she is talking about their visitation with their dad she said he got it every other month and then said they saw him twice a month. There's that weird math again.
When Anna tells Jeff that she's ready to start planning the wedding they were in the kitchen and he was leaning against the counter and a few paragraphs later she's leaving him sitting on the couch with nothing said about them moving from one room to another.
When she goes out to talk to Jeff about her officially moving in with him she hands him a bottle (of beer?) with no mention of her picking up any kind of bottle on her way from the bathroom to the back porch. The bottles were just suddenly there.
I'm not positive about this one but it still struck me as odd... When they were at the first bridge in Paris the older man called Anna `mademoiselle' even though she had just told them that they had just got married.
I think that the part that bugged me the most though was when they talked briefly about having kids. Jeff says that because his brother has twins and Anna's cousin has twins then if and when they have kids there's a high possibility of them having twins. Um, no, not really. The tendency for having twins runs from mother to daughter and the father has absolutely nothing to do with the number of babies conceived, only the sex of the baby or babies. But I realize that this conversation was just setting up the storyline for a future book.
I plan to read the next one in the series just to see if it gets any better. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse.
