Anne Boleyn in a Nutshell

Aptly titled, this concise narrative on the life of one of England's most controversial and pivotal queens is a very fascinating read, especially in light of the recent media depictions of Anne Boleyn. Perhaps to balance out the abundance of dry facts, a more personal and engaging glimpse into the woman itself could have been provided by including actual excerpts of her writing, if possible. Also, a listing of the actual references would be useful for readers eager for a deeper look into her life.

Very brief and extremely interesting!

An easy to read and understand account of the subject, her life and her death. These brief chapters are information packed. They flow very well and held my attention to the end. I particularly found the authors reference to other viewpoints on the subject from her era to the present interesting. I enjoyed this book.
