When he finally thinks he's gotten through the walls she's put up and that she's finally giving him a chance she pulls away. In effort to win her back he tries to make her jealous by dating Riley but his plan backfires when she gets a boyfriend of her own. Little does she know her new boyfriend is part of the reason that Cooper's dad decided to move. Things get ugly when Cooper's forced to confront his past in order to save Fiona. Will they make it out alive and find their happily ever after...

Good try...but fell short

This was a good try by an obviously inexpereinced author. As other reviewers have called out, there were tons of typos and run-on sentences, as well as an obsession with brand name products and money. Where she really lost me was the attempt to tell the story from different points of view. Fiona and Cooper telling the same story using the same words and the same emotions was a waste of paper. I kept thinking I had already read a page...or several. "I sat on his lap and we kissed" and "She sat on my lap and we kissed" are not different enough. The last section using this technique actually started mixing up he/she. I finally gave up. I got this for free - would not pay for it.

"I Won't Give Up" by Sophie Monroe is about two high school seniors Fiona and Cooper. Fiona's world is turned upside down when her father leaves her mother for a younger women and her boyfriend of two years breaks up with her to avoid the scandal. Cooper loses his mom to breast cancer and moves to Prescott with his father to start a new life. His first encounter with Fiona was when she almost ran into him while he was riding his motorcycle to register for school. At first he was angry and started to yell at her, but once he saw how sad she was it softened him up. Afterwards he couldn't get the sad beautiful girl out of his head.
In school, he tried to pursue Fiona and get to know her, but she kept blowing him off. Fiona is done with guys after her dad leaves her mom for a younger women and her ex leaves her when she needed him the most. Cooper determined to make Fiona his, finally suceeds. However ,determined not to get hurt again, Finoa pushes Cooper away realizing she loves him.
Trying to make Finoa jealous, Cooper starts to date, but his plan backfires when Finoa starts to date as well. Once Cooper finds out that Finoa is dating an old dangerous acquaintance, his past starts to catch up with him. Can Finoa and Cooper survive it alive?

What I didn't like:
*The book had a lot of typos. Every now and then I would find myself re-reading the page to figure out what was being said.
*Some things were rushed and unbelievable. Like, I find it hard to beleive that a boyfriend of two years would dump someone right after consoling their mom.
*The fact that Fiona admitted to starting to have feelings for Garrett even though she spent the entire time comparing him to Cooper and knew she was in love with him. She also complained how Garrett anoyed her.
What i did like:
* The storyline was interesting.
* Cooper was a very likeable character and couldn't help, but fall in love with him.
* Easy read with a perfect fairy tale ending.
* The author gave an Epilogue of Fiona and Coopers life ten years later. I hate reading a book where at the end you wonder how their life ended up.
Overall it was an ok book. If your looking to read an easy contemporary romance with a fairy tale ending where everything works out perfectly then this is the book for you. And hey its free!

Poor writing...

Grammar was misused and the punctuation was lacking. The story was all over the place too. It was an easy read but needs some help.
